I was born and raised in Edmond, OK with the exception of 3 years I lived in Calgary, Alberta, Canada from ages 11-14. I enjoyed my time in Canada and learned to ski and play hockey during my time there. I attended Oklahoma Christian University on two different occasions earning both a Bachelors of Science in Biology and one in Nursing. During my first 4 years at Oklahoma Christian, I played on the tennis team and continue to enjoy playing as much as possible.
I have been married to my wife, Carol, for 10 years and we have three young children. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, activities at church, tennis, kayaking, and backpacking.
Coming back to OU Edmond to work with the Hospitalist service was really coming full circle for me. While I was in nursing school I worked part-time at OU Edmond as an ER tech. I very much enjoy working at my hometown hospital and I hope I can serve the healthcare needs of the people of Edmond for many years to come.
